Recently i attended the HR Summit 2008 at Singapore - link: http://www.hrsummit.com.sg/ With about 86 brands as sponsors and attendees, it was a huge event. the event management quality at Singapore generally sets a high level benchmark. this event was also well managed.

It was exciting to see HR professionals mingling together. Since communication, presentation and networking are areas HRD Dept's focus on as training need area, many of the HR professionals here showed that dynamism. Whether they had achieved it through training, or on their own, the impact was visible.
The Suntec conference premises lobby is also impressive.
Though when i caught it on my camera, thel ights were bit dim. Singapore climate even though mostly just rainy or sunny, can be quite unpredictable, and from sunny to cloudy the weather can change, unlike the stability the economy shows here ;)
